We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to join our team and help make this year’s Basingstoke Pride an unforgettable celebration! Below are the areas you can get involved in. You’re welcome to indicate your preferences in the application form.
Marketing & Social
Get the word out and help build the buzz!
- Support with social media posts and engagement
- Capture behind-the-scenes content during the event
- Help the comms team with on-the-day updates
- Assist with checking in attendees for the parade and event
Event & Project Management
Be the engine that keeps everything running!
- Assist with general set-up and pack-down
- Move equipment or supplies as needed throughout the day
- Provide stewarding support along the route
- Help with litter picking and site cleanliness
Entertainment & Stage
Support the talent that brings Pride to life!
- Act as a runner for performers, hosts, and stage crew
- Assist with setting up and packing down the green room and stage areas
- Help manage the green room and holding areas while coordinating performers
- Support stage crew by keeping acts on schedule and relaying updates
